- You can download the application form by going to the nearest R.T.O or through the website, you can choose your particular state and download it from the online portal.

Format of driving license-
There is a format of a driving license in India which ensures that the state, city of which the vehicle belongs to, for example, suppose your license card number is UP-52-2019-044957.
In this, the first two letters indicate the state from where the vehicle is registered.
For example, UP (Uttar Pradesh) followed by Digit (52) shows the city of his state. Different city codes also vary. 2019 is the year in which the license is issued, after which the given digit displays the unique identity of the user.
DL is issued in some such format by the Ministry of Road Transport and State Government of India.
Types of DL in India -
You can choose the type of vehicle according to your requirement -
- Motorcycles whose engine capacity is less than 50 cc or 50 cc
- Motorcycles with gear, Motorcycles with engine capacity of 50 cc or more than 50 cc.

Eligibility for DL (Driving License) -

Procedure for filling DL (Driving License) application form-
a. (Online Application Process) Online Application Process -
If you are going to apply for DL online then first of all LL has to be applied. After this you have to open Sarathi's transport website ( https://sarathi.parivahan.gov.in/sarathiservice/stateSelection.do ) After that there will be a list in the left side in which click on Apply Online under Driving License and then click on it option will appear. In that, you have to choose the option of New Learner's License.
While filling the LL ( Learning License ) form, fill it carefully and upload the necessary documents related to it properly, and then submit it.
For filling the application, following the notifications given below, you can easily submit the application form.

Then click on Continue Botton. If you are Diplomats (Foreigner), Foreigner (but not Diplomats), Physically Challenged, Repatriate, Refugees, Ex-Servicemen, you can choose this option or else click on submit and proceed. Office- Deoria-UP 52 After this, the applicant has to fill all the details of the above form, which includes Name, Relation, Gender, Date of Birth, Place of Birth, Qualification, Country of Birth, Mobile Number, Identification marks, Present Address and Permanent Address. New Passport Size Photograph and Upload Your Signature
In LL Test Booking, you have to do Date Book in which date you want to give LL Test.
Payment Fee depends on your chosen options.
When you do the final submit complete, you will receive a test SMS on the number given by you, your application number will be in it, now you take out the final printout of the form. This print out is required on the day of booking test.
b. (Offline Application Process) Offline application process -
In the offline process, you will have to bring Form-4, which will be easily found on the RTO near you or you can download this form on the State Transport website. After filling the form in a good way, you will have to take the necessary documents with age proof, address proof and take it to the RTO, after going there, you will have to make a fee slot book and make a fee payment by going to your RTO office on the date on which the test is. LL (Learning License) Test (test) -
There are total 15 questions in LL test, each question has 30 seconds time, in which you have to correct 9 questions to pass, the test process is online.

Application for Permanent DL (Driving License) -
You can apply for DL 30 days after the issue of LL, for the application you can apply for your DL again from the LL number, there is also slot booking on the booking date is your driving test in the driving test. Within 10 to 15 days of passing, your DL is sent to the Postal Address given to you, its validity is 10 years and you get the eligibility of driving as a speed driver.
